BBC Elective lists are RISING.

Reforming is not helping.

Elective surgery waiting lists are still growing? November 2024.

506, 612 patients on waiting lists. Shameful!

Why is it logical to continue to drive forward an agenda to close services such as surgery in our local hospital while Northern Ireland waiting list continue to grow? The Overnight ELective Stay Centre is not thriving adequately.

This is not working despite having pumped £150 million at elective procedures in the past four years.

Surely it is more safe and more patient-centered to deliver services using our Hospital?

To leave it relatively empty – with 100 beds and theatres of unused and un-commissioned capacity – while without assessing patient safety risks, cramming patients into an overwhelmed hospital hours and hours away (Altnagelvin).

Reform is designed in healthcare to improve things.

It clearly is not working.
