How can a Government be surprised by “Winter” when it appears.

The Department of Health is meant to be “prepared” to take control of any major health crisis which makes this entirely concerning.

Health care provision includes foresight and planning.

Patient safety and Staff safety must be central.

Where have those concepts gone?

We can-not carry on regardless and regroup in spring…. this is a national emergency.

How can our trust, WHSCT have funneled our patient case load in thousands to Altnagelvin knowing its capacity is overwhelmed.

How with “preparedness” was this allowed to happen?
