🛑FAILING Unscheduled Care🛑

🛑ED Performance (12 Hours) emergency – ALL targets failed.🛑

The Western Trust are currently failing to meet all targets in Unscheduled Care–

Unsheduled care is EMERGENCY care .

they say it “remains the Trust’s most challenged area of service delivery”- all of these performances are RED.

Its Performance has deteriorated in the latter part of 2024/25, specifically from October 24 to March 25, with an increase in the number of patients waiting longer than 12 hours in ED.

ED Handover is also a serious issue – this disables NIAS staff and extends treatment for patients in those ambulances and those waiting for the same ambulances. Northern Ireland Ambulance Service speak UP.

NIAS Handover 2024/25 handovers > 2 hours should be 0%

1st Quarter 5.7%

2nd Quarter 6.5%

3rd Quarter 8.2%

4th Quarter 9.3%

this is getting worse.
