Chair of Fermanagh & Omagh “Today, I chaired a significant meeting with representatives of Save Our Acute Services (SOAS) at Enniskillen Townhall. I want to extend my thanks to the campaign group for their continued dedication, to the Party Group Leaders who were able to attend, and to the Council’s Chief Executive, Alison McCullagh, for her presence and support.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the reinstatement and subsequent retention of emergency general surgery services at the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH). We strongly urge the Western Health and Social Care Trust and the Department of Health to reinstate these vital services without further delay.”

As Chair of FODC, I commend SOAS and its members for their tireless campaigning on behalf of our community.”
