The restoration of emergency general surgery at SWAH is essential for the health, wellbeing, and safety of everyone we serve. We need to see a proper process of consultation, engagement and rural health ecosystem co-design and co-production which builds on the reality of the geography, demography, economy, infrastructure and health of our unique and highly rural community.
